Since our ten-year anniversary last year, Regs4ships Limited has been expanding and growing at a steady rate. We are therefore delighted to welcome a new member to our Commercial Team, Claire Thompson.
Claire joins Regs4ships after an impressive four years at the Queen’s Harbour Master in Portsmouth where she watched over the safety of seafarers as a Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) Officer. Multi-tasking comes naturally to Claire, who will be putting her talents to work as a Sales Executive for Regs4ships Limited.
Her military background as a Royal Naval Communicator and Seaman Specialist means she has travelled across the world on board various ships – so she is well aware of the issues that mariners face.
Indeed, Claire’s experience as a Navigator’s Yeoman means she is all too familiar with the issues surrounding the updating and maintenance of paper documentation “…if only they had Regs4ships on-board!” Claire jests.
With her training complete, Claire will be taking on the challenge of selling our world-leading Digital Maritime Regulations service, which allows vessels and management offices to dispense with a vast array of printed paper documentation, including flag state regulations, IMO publications, EU legislation and ILO conventions.
Claire said: “I am pleased to be working alongside David and my new colleagues at Regs4ships. It seems that I have joined at an exciting time in the company’s history, one that my experience will greatly impact in a positive way.”
David Clayden, Sales and Marketing Director at Regs4ships said: “It is a time of growth and expansion at Regs4ships and we are delighted to welcome Claire on board. I am confident that she will be a great success and make her own contribution to our plans for continued growth.”
