Captain Mick Caulkin, Training and Publications Director at maritime consultancy Regs4ships Limited, is running a Maritime Auditor / Lead Auditor training course at the Maine Maritime Academy from the 21st to 25rd October 2013.
This course has been designed to prepare practicing and potential auditors of international maritime safety management systems for the mandatory certification requirements of the ISM Code and ISO:9001. It is delivered in a very lively and engaging manner by a real expert, Mick Caulkin, and has been approved by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA).

Delivered in conjunction with the Maine Maritime Academy and their UK training partner institution Warsash Maritime Academy, this course is taught by an expert who has 14 years experience at sea, latterly as Captain, and more recently has worked as a port state control inspector, ISM auditor, Examiner of Masters and Mates and Enforcement Officer at the UK MCA.
During his time at Regs4ships, Mick has led several major projects involving the ISPS Code, the introduction of ISM systems and the implementation of ISO:9001 and ISO:14001. His training commitments take Mick around the world to various flag states and some of the largest names in the commercial shipping industry.
