Commenting on his new role Martin Taylor said:
As an ECDIS manufacturer, the leading supplier of paper charts and with ChartCo as the industry preferred source of updates and electronic information, we are in a prime position to make the transition to electronic charts as painless as possible for our customers.
Our new service; ECDISplus, provides data, updates, equipment, training and global service in one unique package and is aimed at making ECDIS implementation as straight-forward as possible. Our focus is to minimise transition costs for customers and we believe that no other company can offer all the components to do this.
With almost 10,000 vessels currently managed through our Outfit Management and ChartCo services we understand the complexities that are involved with ECDIS data management. We have specifically targeted new products such as PassageManager that simplify navigation and chart management whilst taking into account customer preferences.
