As the leading supplier of charts to navies, merchant fleets and private vessels around the world, we hold the most comprehensive stock of paper charts along with navigational and technical publications of any single organisation - all updated on a continual basis. As well as complete stocks of ADMIRALTY, US, Canadian, Dutch, Japanese and Australian charts, we can also source charts from any other hydrographic office anywhere in the world.
In the twenty-first century paper charts continue to form a key part of most vessels' navigational resources, despite the new universal adoption of digital ECDIS systems for day-to-day use. Paper charts offer a backup system that can be used in the event of total systems failure on-board a yacht, as well as being better suited for discussing and planning itineraries with yacht owners and guests.
There are two main ways to keep bridge publications such as the ADMIRALTY List of Lights up to date.
- Loose Leaf Service with updates sent to an agreed address on a weekly basis.
- Loose Leaf Service with updates sent via PDF to a nominated email address (you then print and place in the appropriate folder).
You only receive data relevant to your Outfit. There is no searching for the correct pages.
Publications covered by this system:
- ADMIRALTY List of Lights
- ADMIRALTY List of Radio Signals
- ADMIRALTY Sailing Directions
Some of the other publications such as the ITU range have updates in between new editions. We will also inform you of these updates.
The contact for this is carried out on a weekly basis in line with any ISM or Mini ISM requirements and possible Port State Inspection.
