The Outfit Management Service (OMS) lies at the heart of ChartCo Superyacht Services partnership approach. By gaining a thorough understanding of a yacht's requirements and regulatory environment at the outset, we can then offer a seamless and flexible service that ensures that it meets its regulatory requirements at all times and revisions and updates are delivered to the yacht automatically and without the need to reorder individual items.
Firstly, we will agree the "outfit" that a yacht should hold on-board. The Outfit comprises the range of charts, publications and digital data that is required to pilot the vessel safely and with compliance against regulations such as SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and Flag State. As the yacht cruises into different areas of the world, the Outfit will recognise the changes that each area may demand.
At the point of Delivery the Outfit is totally up to date and ready to use.
As time passes a ChartCo team member, appointed to personally deal with your yacht, will contact you and keep you aware of any "New Editions" required to keep your Outfit tip-top. When you have agreed, the item(s) is then forwarded out to an agreed delivery point. In this way the integrity of the Outfit is maintained.
It may be that the Outfit is split into various cruising areas (folios) such as East and West Mediterranean, Atlantic Crossing, Caribbean etc. To keep the work as low as possible on the bridge, we will store any non operational part of the outfit FREE of charge, and return it at your timed request, completely up to date and ready to use. A quotation regarding the updating of the folio will be supplied at the time.
