Management and updating of paper charts and publications

ChartCo delivers digital Notices to Mariners (NMs) and chart correction tracings on a weekly basis as soon as the national authorities release the data. Whilst the complete NM is received onboard each week, only those corrections applicable to the charts in the vessel outfit are highlighted. The full weekly NM is available to view at any time as required.

The vessel may add or delete charts from the vessel’s outfit, providing complete flexibility. Notifications of New Editions/New Charts are also delivered, and receipt of the charts on board may be logged into the system and old records archived. In this way the oceanMaster™ user software provides a comprehensive chart and publications outfit management function.

A log of all corrections applied to each chart is maintained within the system and may be viewed at any time. From these logs, ISM compliant reports of the vessel outfit can be produced.

In addition to UKHO publications, a wide selection of the most common nautical publications carried on board are supported.
