How it Works

ChartCo is a provider of maritime data directly to ships at sea. ChartCo has more recently introduced ChartCo Select, which offers services delivered through broadband internet as well as email. It continues to deliver bulk data by means of a satellite broadcast using the ship's existing satellite communications in conjunction with a dedicated ChartCo broadcast receiver. There is no interference with normal ship's communications and the ChartCo data is received automatically. All communication costs are included in the service subscription fee.

Our services ensure vessels are up to date with chart corrections, leading to greater safety. An added value of the ChartCo service is its cost effectiveness and comprehensive user software, enabling savings to be made in terms of both money and labour. ChartCo products give the seafarer total independence from any data supplier allowing freedom of choice with a straightforward purchasing process.

ChartCo also offers global distribution through a world-wide network of sales agents and global support through a worldwide network of service engineers who are able to fit equipment and install software at key International ports using the services of authorised service agents.
